For PLO 1: Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to learning and using technology, I elected to use the EDU648 Week 1, Discussion 2 mind map. Bubbl.us is a technology tool that allows a learner/user to demonstrate their thinking visually and utilizes both aesthetic appeal and demonstrates an organized flow or structure. For each of the six different e-learning principles listed, there is a description to create an understanding of the principle, as well as how it applies to technology use and examples of how each principle can be applied. I believe that this mind map demonstrates mastery of Program Learning Outcome 1, which calls for knowledge and skills related to learning and using technology, because it outlines not only a knowledge of the principles that guide the use of technology, but also describes uses and applications. Even more so, by using a technology based tool, such as Bubbl.us, there is a clear demonstration of the ability to apply technology skills used and learned in that class.
